Delivery

When ordering online from The London Tile Company, you can choose to either Click & Collect in-store, or have your order Delivered to you.

Click and Collect

Click & Collect orders will see your order shipped from our main warehouse to your chosen store within 3-5 working days. The London Tile Co. offers a free of charge Click and Collect service for all orders. Once your order has arrived at your chosen depot you will be contacted via telephone or email to let you know it is ready to collect.

A small collection of our products are special order only, so will take longer to get them to your chosen store. The length of time is dependant on the supplier.

Our friendly sales and warehouse staff will be happy to help you load your car but please note tiles can be very heavy and bulky - we can advise on the weight of the tiles but it is your responsibility to know the capability of your vehicle. Multiple trips may be required depending on the size of the order.

Delivery

Standard 3 - 4 Working Day Delivery Service

  • You must be in to receive and sign for your delivery.
  • Deliveries will be made between 7:30 and 18:00 Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
  • The courier will call you to arrange a suitable time for delivery.
  • Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday will be processed on Friday for delivery the following Monday.
  • Delivery is calculated by postcode and order weight. Please use the Delivery Estimate tool in the basket once you have added your products.
  • Our standard delivery service is FREE for all orders over 300 ex-VAT to UK mainland addresses. Non-mainland addresses will incur added shipping charges.

Express 1 - 2 Working Day Delivery Service

  • You must be in to receive and sign for your delivery.
  • Express delivery is offered to UK Mainland only.
  • Deliveries will be made between 7:30 and 18:00 Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
  • The courier will call you to arrange a suitable time for delivery.
  • Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday will be processed on Friday for delivery the following Monday.
  • Delivery is calculated by postcode and order weight. Please use the Delivery Estimate tool in the basket once you have added your products.

Important Note - Please Read

We always make every effort to ensure your order gets to you without any problems. However - like all businesses offering a delivery service, occasionally damages and losses do occur. In these instances we will attempt to resolve these problems as quickly as possible.

The London Tile Company are not liable for any financial loss to you incurred through late, damaged or incorrect delivery. It is for this reason that we suggest you order the goods so that they arrive at least 5 days before you need them, this will then allow us time to correct any problems. Please bring any concerns with your delivery to our attention within 14 days of accepting delivery.

We recommend scheduling your delivery before your project commences to ensure you have everything you need and are happy with your purchase before work begins.

If you're not sure when you need your tiles delivered, we're happy to hold them for you for 90 days after payment free of charge. After this time we will call you and tell you when we are delivering.

Terms & Conditions for Tile Deliveries

You must make all necessary arrangements to take delivery of your order. If you do not accept delivery of products, or you or the circumstances at the delivery address cause us to be late or unable to deliver, you must reimburse any costs we reasonably incur as a result. If there are circumstances making delivery difficult, you must make us aware before hand. These may include limited access width for a heavy goods vehicle or an unsuitable surface for a heavy goods vehicle to park and unload for example.

Pallet deliveries of tiles are made with large vehicles using tail lifts to the nearest kerbside. Our pallet couriers are unable to bring these items inside the property or move any items to the desired floor of the house due to insurance purposes. It is at the customer's liability, and driver's discretion, if delivery is accepted onto any part of the customer's property.

Checking Your Goods

The most important thing you can do is check your goods! Make sure you have received the correct goods and are happy with the colour, shading, sizing etc. This must be done before the goods are installed. Tiles cannot be exchanged or returned once fixing has occurred. Let our customer services team know of any problems as soon as possible. It is extremely important that you indicate the damages on the delivery note when you sign for the goods. You must notify our customer services team by emailing us or calling 0333 320 80 48 if there are any damages or irregularities to your order within 24 hours of delivery, or it will be assumed that these issues have occurred after delivery was made.

After you have notified us of the damages, replacement goods will be sent out as soon as possible.
