Tile Trend: Brick Effect Tiles

The tile industry is continuously developing new products and techniques to help them create better products. Part of this is designing tiles that mimic the design aesthetic and trends people want. As tiles are extremely hard-wearing, cost effective and easy to maintain, it makes sense to use them throughout the home. Over the last couple of years we’ve seen a range of tiles that look remarkably like natural stone, and last year realistic wood effect tiles were one of our top trends. This year we’re expanding on this trend and adding brick effect tiles to the mix.

Our Battersea brick effect tiles are a great choice whether you are creating a cozy country kitchen, or an urban loft lounge. The porcelain tiles measure 250mm x 60mm, and can be used on both the walls and the floor. They are available in a range of authentic colours including the whitewashed Dover White, traditional red brick Bromley Sunset, and light grey River Fog.

When fitting these tiles, make sure you use T-shaped spacers to create a brick bond pattern. We stock 10mm wide T spacers and a range of coloured grouts that will help you create a bricks and mortar look easily.

We also have the Bromley Sunset, Stafford Charcoal and River Fog colours in a larger 600mm x 300mm tile that can also be used on walls and floors.
