Schlüter DITRA-HEAT-E-HK Cables are loose-lay electric underfloor heating cables designed for use with DITRA-HEAT-DUO matting. DITRA-HEAT-DUO is a decoupling matting that has an additional thermal break layer and evenly spaced studs to help you create completely customised underfloor heating layouts. The cables can be used on walls and floors underneath ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles.

The stud spacing of the uncoupling membrane is 3 cm, on floors cables should be installed with a distance of 90mm (every third stud) and on walls this can be reduced to 60mm (every second stud). The heating cable should be no closer than 60mm (2 studs) from any building element, e.g. wall, column, bath, toilet, etc. The heating cable should never cross. Heating cables must not be shortened.
